Win an i-Pod shuffle and three copies of Halloween on DVD
23rd Apr 08
Oh yes, Michael Myers is back, but this time it's not a bargain basement sequel, but a new ultra-cool make-over from Rob (The Devil's Rejects) Zombie.
Yep, the new Halloween finally comes to DVD on April 28th, and to celebrate, Paramount have kindly offered us an i-Pod Shuffle and three copies of the film to give away on DVD. One winner will receive an i-Pod shuffle and a copy of Halloween, whilst two runners-up will both win a copy of the DVD.
To stand a chsnce of winning, simply answer the easy-peasy question below (and if you don't know the answer to this one, you should be shot, strangled, mutilated, dismembered and decapitated), enter your name and email and press submit.
The competition will close on May 1st, and we will draw three winners at random. Unfortunately, this competition is only open to people aged 18 or over who live in the UK or Ireland.
Michael Myers is back in the 9th instalment in the classic Halloween franchise. The incarnation of all that is evil has escaped from the mental institution where he was sent as a 10-year-old after brutally killing his step-father, as well as his elder sister and her boyfriend.
Now, 17 years later, the adult Myers is on the run and heading home to Haddonfield with the intention of finding the baby sister Laurie he left behind. As always, anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger and the big question is whether his doctor Sam Loomis, played by Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, IfÖ.) can find him before he finds Laurie.
Zombie, whose other works of horror include House of 1000 Corpses and The Devilís Rejects, displays all his mastery of the horror genre; this genuinely chilling spine-tingler will have the audience on the edge of their seats right to the charged finale.
