In case you haven’t already heard, there’s a documentary on its way to DVD that people like yours truly have been waiting a long time for, tackling the gone-but-not-forgotten genre of Eurocrime, entitled Eurocrime: The Italian Cop and Gangster Films that Ruled the 70s. Holy shit. This is very exciting news.
At the helm is one Mike Malloy, who has tracked down genre stalwarts John Saxon, Franco Nero, Henry Silva, Enzo Castellari, Fred Williamson, and Antonio Sabato, amongst plenty others, so expect some wild and crazy stories along with a sudden urge to grab a gun and clear the streets of stinkin’ criminal scum.
We will post more information on this documentary when we hear any developments.
