A Fuzzy future for the Shaun of the Dead crew?

 After weeks of rumours and speculation about what the team (Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg) behind Shaun of the Dead will be up to next (will it be Shaun and the Bodysnatchers? Will it be an action-comedy?) empireonline.co.uk have gone straight to the horse's mouth to find out exactly what is going on.
Speaking to them on their current US promotional tour for Shaun (where they are currently making friends such as Quentin Tarantino, Eli Roth, George Romero and Peter Jackson), Empire discovered that they have indeed begun work on the follow-up and it is going to be an action / cop film.
Edgar Wright: "The idea would be to do a sequel in tone to Shaun but to tackle what we think of as the Great British Action Film, in the grand tradition of The Young Americans and Downtime.
We just thought it would be really fun to make the UK equivalent of Hard Boiled or Desperado - but very, very English!"
Only Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Ed in Shaun) have been confirmed as cast as yet, although it is hoped that several familiar UK comedy faces (including Matt Lucas and David Walliams) may make an appearance.
Wright and Pegg are currently writing the script on tour and the working titles (for the Working Title production) include Raging Fuzz or Hot Fuzz.
"It may be neither of these, but it could be fuzz-related." revealed Wright.
