Zombies on the streets of London this weekend

 Take care when you're wandering around London, Manchester and Birmingham this coming weekend, as it seems there are going to be random zombie outbreaks happening over these three cities.
MediaBulletin have reported that ZenithOptimedia are running the campaign in conjunction with Universal International Pictures. There will be several "infected zones" randomly appearing in London, Birmingham and Manchester in the run up to Shaun of the Dead's official release in the UK on April 9th,
Actors will be transported around the cities in a high-security transit van, only to be released at certain key locations. They will then be recaptured and herded into a 'zombie-infected zone' which will be cordoned off with hazard tape.
Oliver Harwood-Matthews from village@zenithoptimedia says; "Staging these zombie live events creates a genuine pre-experience of the movie. It has to be the most powerful way to communicate what 'Shaun of the Dead' is all about. For people out and about on the streets next Saturday, it's a great piece of live entertainment, which is sure to generate word of mouth."
Steve Hunt, senior media manager at UIP, said: "This is really exciting stuff, we've never let zombies loose on the streets before. We hope it will create a real buzz in the run-up to the movie's release."
