Two new pictures from Romero's Land of the Dead

 Scouring the web, we've just come across two new pictures from the recently completed George Romero's Land of the Dead, including the first picture of star Asia Argento looking mean with her choice of automatic weapon. The film has a $17million budget is being released by Universal (US) and has a Stateside release date of October 21st 2005.

George Romero's Land of the Dead features a plot whereby the zombies have taken over the world and those humans still left alive are confined to a walled-in city that keeps out the corpse corps.
Anarchy rules the streets, with the wealthy insulated and living in fortified skyscrapers. The story revolves around a group of scavengers who must thwart an attempt to overthrow the city while the dead evolve from brainless slow-moving creatures into more advanced creatures.
