Sam Raimi for Evil Dead sequel AND remake

 Yup, it's all true.. Sam Raimi has officially confirmed that not only will he produce a remake of Evil Dead 1 and 2 (as a single film), he is also in line to direct Evil Dead 4.
Both films will be made by his production comapny Ghost House Pictures (which has already produced The Grudge and Boogeyman). Rumours are circulating that Raimi is courting Chan Wook Park (Old Boy) to lens the remake, although nothing has been confirmed. Unfortunately Bruce Campbell will not be taking part in any of the action, although Bruce has asked that nobody in the film is called Ash - he wants to sit on that name apparently.
However, Campbell will be taking part in the Evil Dead sequel (gets confusing, doesn't it?) as well as featuring some of the other actors from the previous movies. Sam has begun writing Part 4 with his brother Ted and will be developing it for production later this year.
