Ridley Scott climbs aboard Diamond Dead

6th Apr 04

Ridley Scott climbs aboard Diamond Dead It's got to be said, there is no upcoming project that Eatmybrains.com is more excited about than this one.

George Romero has teamed up with Richard Hartley (composer of 'Rocky Horror Picture Show') for a new 'undead' feature film - Diamond Dead. The team have set up one of the most comprehensive 'in-production' websites ever seen at www.diamonddead.com where you can read excerpts from the scripts, look in on the production diaries, and view the amazing concept art from Brian Cooper and Kurt A. Valenta.

And now it seems that film-making legend Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Alien) has joined the project as co-producer alongside Andrew Gaty under the umbrella of his company Scott Free Productions.

This can only be good news for one of the most exciting, intriguing 'Dead' projects currently in pre-production. Romero returning to his homeground with a new 'Dead' film, music from the writer of cult classic 'Rocky Horror' and now Ridley Scott as co-producer.

Do yourselves a favour, visit www.diamonddead.com now, sign-up, log-in and help get this film into the cinemas.

Rock'n'roll.

More Information

Romero has only made one other film since his adaptation of Stephen King's 'The Dark Half way back in 1993. That film was the little seen Bruiser, a retribution film focusing on a man who wakes one day to find his face has turned into a smooth, white featureless mask.
