Saturn Awards nominations announced
10th Feb 05
Yes, it's that crazy awards season again, where a new awards list seems to be announced every other day. This time it's the nominations for the 2005 31st Annual Saturn Awards announced by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films.
Great to see Shaun of the Dead receive another nomination for Best Horror Film (although admittedly it's chances of winning in the US are slim), nods for both the original Dawn of the Dead (in Best DVD Classic film release) and its remake (Best Horror Film), and Christian Bale finally gets some recognition for his jaw-dropping performance in The Machinist.
The awards take place on Tuesday, May 3rd, at the Universal City Hilton Hotel. For more information, visit the Official website.
