The Last Horror Movie gets a one week screening from May 13th
19th Apr 05
It's been two years since writer / director / producer Julian Richards went to Cannes to promote his low-budget British film The Last Horror Movie (he almost got arrested in the process by covering the Croisette with fake 'WANTED' posters!), but it seems the film is now getting a theatrical release (of sorts) in the UK.
The film has already been out on DVD in the US for some time, but now Tartan are finally releasing the movie at the Odeon, Panton Street, London from Friday 13th-19th of May. It's only screening for one week, as the distributors are using it as a test run to see if it is worth releasing it nationwide.
Having seen the film ourselves, we definitely urge anyone in London (or near the area) to make it down to the cinema and get this British Horror film the nationwide release it deserves.
The Last Horror Movie follows the adventures of a serial killer who uses a horror video rental tape to lure his victims and stars Kevin Howarth and Mark Stevenson.
