Jake West's Evil Aliens and Scarehouse

 The buzz about Jake (Razor Blade Smile) West's new movie Evil Aliens has been building for some time now, and it has just been confirmed (on the www.frightfest.co.uk website) that the film will now be screened at London's Frightfest this coming August.
Evil Aliens recently won Best Film prize at San Francisco’s (Yet) Another Hole in the Head fest and is described as an inventive and stylish Horror Sci-Fi film made with tongue firmly in cheek, following in the tradition of films such as Brain Dead, House, and Evil Dead.
It is apparently the first full length British Horror Film to utilise the latest Sony HD (High Definition) cameras, and contains over 140 digital effects shots. The cast includes real life TV presenter Emily Booth, Christopher Adamson (Judge Dredd), Norman Lovett (Red Dwarf) and celebrity model Jodie Shaw.
Jake is also working on a new genre feature called Scarehouse, about a reality show gone bad.
Scarehouse synopsis: ‘Kurnug Hall’ is reputedly one of the most haunted houses in Great Britain. Though you could argue practically every old house has its ghost story…so is it really ‘Most Haunted’ or just ‘Most Publicized’? However, it is deemed the ideal location for a new reality TV show, SCAREHOUSE, which dares seven contestants to become residents and see who has the nerves to tough it out longest. Haunted Big Brother, if you will.”
