We've never quite understood the amount of backlash that Uwe Boll has recieved in the genre sector (admittedly, we still haven't seen Alone in the Dark yet), as we actually quite liked his previous video game-film adaptation, House of the Dead. Now, it seems, he's back with a new trailer online for his next film, Bloodrayne.
The film (based on Majesco's hit game) is about a fearless vampire killer (Kristanna Loken of Terminator 3 fame) who happens to be half-vampire herself and is out to avenge her mother's rape by her father, Kagan, King of Vampires.
Ok, so the trailer makes it look a little like a cross between Blade, Interview with a Vampire and Conan, albeit with a female slant, yet it also looks pretty cool too, with lots of blood-letting and naked breasts to keep us vampire fans happy.
With a huge cast including Ben Kingsley, Michelle Rodriguez, Matt Davis, Udo Kier, Michael Par, Geraldine Chaplin, Meatloaf, Billy Zane and Michael Madsen, the film's only release date confirmed so far is in Russia in November of this year.
