Winner of our The Descent competition

 Thanks to everyone who entered our recent competition to win a Bush DVD Player in association with last week's cinema release of Neil Marshall's The Descent, thanks to lovely lovely people over at Pathe UK.
We had an overwhelming amount of entries, but unfortunately there can only be one winner. We made the draw this morning using sophisticated techniques (well, we picked a number at random), and can now tell you the winner's name is:

The Descent is Neil Marshall’s hotly anticipated follow up to Dog Soldiers, and we here at eatmybrains strongly believe it to be one of the best British horror films of recent years (read our review of The Descent here). It tells the story of an all female caving expedition that goes terrifyingly wrong in a cave system deep in the Appalachian Mountains. When an unexpected rock fall blocks the exit, the six girls soon find themselves hunted by a race of fearless, hungry predators, once humanoid but now monstrously adapted to live in the dark…
The Descent stars Shauna Macdonald, Natalie Mendoza, Alex Reid, Saskia Mulder, Nora-Jane Noone and MyAnna Buring and was filmed on location in Scotland and at Pinewood Studios. The film was released in cinemas on July 8th 2005.
