Trailer online for Masters of Horror

 Now this really makes us wish we had access to the cable network Showtime! As if we weren’t excited enough at the prospect of 13 one hour episodes from the legends (and we mean Legends!) of horror, including John Landis, John Carpenter, Dario Argento, Larry Cohen, Don Coscarelli to name but a few, now the trailer for the series has appeared online and it looks phenomenal!

Showtime will begin screening the series this October. It is also now looking likely that the series will be getting some theatrical exposure, mostly likely in Europe, where segments may be paired up.

Based on Joe R. Lansdale’s short story of the same title, this film pits Ellen (Bree Turner), a seemingly defenceless young woman, against Moonface, a deformed and demented serial killer. As the story cuts back and forth in time, we slowly discover that our heroine is not as helpless or as innocent as she initially seems.
