What the flux? Aeon Flux!

 “In the year 2011 industrial disease will destroy 99% of the world’s population.
The survivors will create a walled city and share a perfect life together. This perfect life needs a perfect revolution.”
And so begins the intro to the new official website for Aeon Flux, which you can visit (and finally see the new trailer!) now if you click on the link to www.aeonflux.com.
Based on the MTV animated series (by Peter Chung), Aeon Flux is set in the future, where disease has wiped out the majority of the earth's population except for one walled, protected city-state, Bregna, ruled by a congress of scientists.
The film focuses on Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron), the top operative in the underground 'Monican' rebellion - led by The Handler (Frances McDormand). When Aeon is sent on a mission to kill a government leader, she uncovers a world of secrets.
The Karyn Kusama directed film stars Charlize Theron as Aeon Flux and Frances McDormand alongside Brits Jonny Lee Miller, Pete Postlethwaite and Sophie Okonedo and will be released on the 2nd December in the US and 30th December in the UK.
