Details of 5-disc Phantasm box set

 Anchor Bay are certainly pulling out all the stops as far as box set DVDs are concerned, especially with the beautifully designed Phantasm Box Set which will be available to buy on 31st October 2005.
Available in two amazing Special Collector's Editions - the Phantasm Digipak and the Limited Edition Phantasm Sphere - the set includes all four films from writer-director Don Coscarelli's revered and much-loved horror saga together for the first time (Phantasm, Phantasm II, Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead and Phantasm IV: Oblivion), fully remastered under the supervision of Coscarelli himself.
Both box set editions also come complete with a fifth Bonus Disc with exclusive brand new interviews, featurettes and special features, all produced with the co-operation of Don Coscarelli, plus many of the original cast members and creative personnel.
The Phantasm Sphere (£34.99) features the five discs housed in a shiny, silver facsimile of the razor-pronged killer orbs seen in the films (see our earlier news here). Limited to 20,000 units only, the sphere itself comes in a silver 'Easter egg'-style carton and will be exclusive to this UK Region 2 release.
The Phantasm Digipak (£29.99) comes in a silver-effect mirrorboard box fronted by an eye-dazzling lenticular image of the Phantasm series' arch-villain, the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm) holding one of the deadly spheres.
The four films – Phantasm (cert. 15, £16.99), Phantasm II (cert. 18, £14.99), Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead (cert. 18, £14.99) and Phantasm IV: Oblivion (cert. 18, £14.99) – will also be released on the same day as individual single-disc DVD editions.
