New website for Guy Ritchie's Revolver
4th Sep 05

New website for Guy Ritchie's Revolver Released on September 22nd, Guy Ritchie's long-awaited new film Revolver is still receiving last-minute tweaks to some certain CGI sequences (hence the reason why no review has appeared for the the film yet) although advance word on the ten-minute preview that some people have been allowed to see is very good indeed.

Starring Jason Statham (who appeared in both Lock, Stock.. and Snatch), Ray Liotta, Outkast's Andre Benjamin and Vincent Pastore, Revolver tells the (tall) tale of gambler and conman Jake Green (Statham) who takes the rap for mean Dorothy Macha (Liotta) and winds in in jail.

After his release, Jake becomes unbeatable at the tables using a formula for the ultimate con that he learned from two mysterious fellow prisoners. Jake visits Macha at his casino and humiliates him publicly in a game of chance leading to Macha sending out his goons to “take care of” Jake.

The website for the film has now been launched and you can visit the site at www.revolverthemovie.co.uk/, where you can view some clips from the film, and also enter a competition to win tickets to the star-studded premiere of the movie.

More Information
Revolver will be released in the United Kingdom and Eire by Redbus Film Distribution on Thursday 22nd September, 2005 following the World Premiere on Tuesday 20th September at the Odeon Leicester Square, London which Guy Ritchie and his wife Madonna will be attending.
