Final details of 25th Anniversay Cannibal Holocaust DVD

 Limited to only 10,000? Well, that'll only be 9,999 left when I place my own order for the Cannibal Holocaust 25th Anniversary DVD, details of which have just emerged. Ruggero Deodato's notorious 1979 film Cannibal Holocaust will now finally be released onto DVD on October 25th from Grindhouse Releasing.
This deluxe 25th Anniversary Collector's Edition boasts a brand-new anamorphic widescreen transfer of the uncensored director's cut from a high definition digital restoration, along with a Dolby Digital Stereo remix and original Mono tracks.
The DVD will be limited to 10,000 sets and will be available for $29.95.
Extras on the two-disc set include;
* Audio commentary with Ruggero Deodato and star Robert Kerman
* "The Making of Cannibal Holocaust" hour-long Italian documentary featuring rare behind-the-scenes footage
* Exclusive on-camera interviews with Deodato, Kerman and co-star Gabriel Yorke
* Original theatrical trailers
* Stills and poster art galleries
* The original shooting script
* "Necrophagia" music video
* Liner notes by horror journalist Chas. Balun.

Grindhouse were recently caught up in further controversy issues when two separate printers refused to handle the artwork for the 25th Anniversay release.
