Just over a year after going into production (see our earlier story here), news reaches us that Optimum Releasing have now confirmed a theatrical release for Stephen Bradley's romcomzom Boy Eats Girl throughout Ireland on September 23rd, with a UK release to follow shortly after. It is also hoped the film will premiere in the US early next year.
Boy Eats Girl - described as a 'comedy horror about a teenage date that goes disastrously wrong, bringing bloody mayhem to suburbia' - stars Samantha The Time Machine Mumba and David Leon, was written by Derek Landy and directed by Stephen Bradley on a reported budget of around $5 milllion
