The Devil's Rejects Region 2 DVD date announced

 Ok, so those of you with multi-region DVD players wil probably order the Region 1 version of The Devil's Rejects when it is released on November 8th (we know we will!), but those of you out there with Region 2 players only will have to wait until December for one of this year's best horror releases.
Momentum Pictures will be making the film available in two versions - the first being a film-only single disc 'vanilla' version, which will be available to rent from 12th December and to buy from 26th at £15.99. But true horror fans and collectors really should hold back and wait for Boxing Day when the double-disc Special Edition (£19.99) will become available (and what a lovely post-Christmas treat that will be!).
This version will be laden with deliciously gory Special Features including two commentaries and a monstrous behind-the-scenes documentary.
Extras announced for the US version include a blooper reel, the full version of Captain Spaulding's Monkey/Fried Chicken commercial from the film, a Captain Spaulding Christmas spot, The Morris Green Show (the TV talk show seen in the movie, with Daniel Roebuck as Green), a Home Movie from Otis, an Otis Rush Video, a Buck Owens video and the standard deleted scenes.
The unrated R1 version (which will most likely be a two-disc set) will also feature "a two-and-a-half-hour documentary that diaries every day of the filmmaking process, starting with preproduction meetings".
Full details of the Region 2 extras will be available in the days/weeks to come.

The Devil's Rejects centers on a band of bounty hunters led by Sheriff Wydell's brother who is fueled by revenge when he finds out that his kin was slain by the Firefly family.
The film picks up shortly after the first (House of a 1000 Corpses) with the Firefly clan going on the road after their house is burned down and a few family members have been gunned down during a police raid.
