Shaun of the Dead wins four Fangoria awards

Well, 20 months down the line from it's original UK release, we didn't expect to still be running Shaun of the Dead news stories, but strangely Fangoria have only just published the results of their 14th Annual Fangoria Chainsaw Awards for 2004, and whaddya know - Brit Zombie hit Shaun of the Dead (also featuring the eatmybrains crew - that's me circled on the pic, sorry couldn't help myself!) has stumbled and staggered away with four awards.
As well as taking Best Wide-release Film, Shaun of the Dead also received awards for it's two lead male stars in the form of Best Actor for Simon Pegg (beating Christian Bale's mesmerising performance in The Machinist to the punch), and a final long-awaited and much-deserved award for Oranguntan imitator and Best Supporting Actor, Nick Frost.
Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright (currently to be seen meeting Romero on the extras disc for the US unrated edition of Land of The Dead) also took home the award for Best Screenplay. Not bad for a low-budget British horror-comedy eh?
