Next year will be a Black Christmas
1st Nov 05
News has been a long time coming on this project (we first heard about it back in July last year), but it seems that the remake of Bob Clark’s Black Christmas is now officially going ahead with a scheduled release date of Christmas 2006.
It was originally hoped the original director, Bob Clark, could be persuaded to get back in the Director's chair for the project, but this now doesn't seem to be the case as the Weinstein's Dimension Films company have now secured US Distribution rights for the film. The newly updated Black Christmas from the writer-producer-director team of James Wong and Glen Morgan (Final Destination) is due to start production in January 2006.
More Information
An early version of the Black Christmas script was said to be "actually quite different from the original. There are certain aspects and characters that are the same, but the setting and the circumstances are a bit different. So there will be some surprises and new things in there for die-hard fans of the first film."

If there is any kind of discernable message in White Noise, it’s don’t mess around with EVP. Point taken. It’s a confusing film and I’m really sorry to say that Keaton’s performance is flat, dull, disappointing | | | | |
