Bruce to play Bruce in My Name is Bruce 8th Nov 05
How much do we love Bruce Campbell here at eatmybrains.com (in a big, manly zombie-killing kinda way of course!) We love Bruce lots, which is why it's great to hear that Bruce is set to play himself in a new film called My Name is Bruce.
Announced as part a small Variety feature on current indie horror, it was revealed that Image Entertainment and Dark Horse Indie have a slate of films in production, which includes the Bruce Campbell project, as well as a new feature from John Landis called Gone and a Twilight-Zone-type anthology film from Harlan Ellison called Dream Corridor. Landis' project is a haunted house tale set to begin lensing in June.
My Name is Bruce is a comedy/horror film set to start rolling in January. The script has Bruce Campbell kidnapped from the set of a "B" horror movie and forced to play the role of his movie character.
More Information Also on the production line is Splinter starring Tom Sizemore and Edward James Olmos from director Michael Olmos. The film is drama that concerns a policeman on the skids who teams up with an idealistic young female cop.
