Upcoming US Shaw Bros. releases from Image

 How's this for a coincidence? Not only did we recently stumble upon the cult classic Super Inframan via our secret HK source (Chin's dad! - see our latest Zombie Club for the report on the film along with Flying Guillotines 2), but then only the other day we heard that Image had recently bought the rights to a stack of thirty classic Shaw Brothers titles ready for release next year.
Well, it's now officially been announced that the first titles of the projected 18 releases will be available as early as next April, with Super Inframan leading the pack of these remastered and restored classics, hopefully at a rate of two a month.
Other genre entries on the list include new transfers of Human Lanterns, Black Magic and the sleazy The Killer Snakes, along with lots of martial arts pics. Picture and sound will be fully restored from the HK Celestial versions, and it is hoped that new special features will also be included.
