New trailer for zombie flick Last Rites

 Another week, and another news item featuring the post-production of yet another independent zombie film!
It seems everyone and their zombie dog is making a low-budget dead-fest nowadays, but there's something a bit different about this latest one in the fact that the trailer and website actually make it look like quite a promising prospect.
Last Rites is the new indie zombie flick from co-writer / director Duane Stinnett, and it tells the story of rival street gangs battling a zombie plague in downtown Los Angeles. The film stars Noel Guglielmi (Training Day, The Fast and the Furious), Enrique Almeida, Danny Martinez and the legendary Reggie Bannister (Phantasms 1-4).
Last Rites began shooting at the end of 2004, and is almost ready, with just the final visual effects, music, and ADR to be inserted. The film-makers hope to complete the film by mid-January 2006.
