Dead Reckoning receives greenlight (almost)
12th May 04
Looks like George Romero is going to have his hands full in the next couple of years, as news reches us that he now has two zombie films in the works.
News broke earlier this week that his fouth instalment of the Dead trilogy, Dead Reckoning, had been greenlit by Fox. The film is due to take place after the events of Day of the Dead, and locations are currently being scouted.
However, bloody-disgusting.com have now recieved official word (via Rue Morgue) from Romero himself to state that although no deals have actually been made with Fox and Scott Free (on Dead Reckoning and Diamond Dead respectively), they are very close to signing.
Of course, nothing is ever official until cast and crew are on set and cameras are turning, but it all bodes well for two upcoming Romero zombie films!
