Official poster and rejects for The Hills Have Eyes

 To say we're looking forward to this one would be a bit of an understatement. A remake of one of Wes Craven's classic 'early' horror films, with Craven on board as Exec Producer and rising star, French director Alex Aja (Haute Tension) at the helm, this is set to be one of the horror highlights of 2006.
Currently gearing up for a March release, the film wrapped earlier this year in Madrid after a problem-free shoot, and now the official poster (see left) has hit the web.
But that's not all - thanks to Fangoria, we've also been given the chance to see the four rejected poster designs for the film. Overall, you've got to say they went for the best one.

The Hills Have Eyes stars Aaron Stanford, Vinessa Shaw, Kathleen Quinlan and Ted Levine.
Aaron Stanford is perhaps best known as Pyro on X2 and plays Doug Wood, one of the members of the family who break down in the wilderness, while Vinessa (Melinda and Melinda) Shaw plays his wife, Lynne. Kathleen (Event Horizon) Quinlan is cast in the role of Ethel Carter with Ted (Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs) Levine as her husband, Big Bob Carter.
When a family's trailer breaks down in the middle of the New Mexican desert, they soon find themselves preyed upon by a cannibalistic, feral group of people, victims of years of nuclear testing in the area....
