We've just received an email from Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer, the writers / directors of the low-budget Brotherhood of Blood, telling us that the film has now finished shooting in LA.
We reported on the film earlier (see here) when we heard that film stars Eatmybrains faves Sid Haig (as a vampire no less) and Ken Foree. Written and directed by Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer (screenwriters of Far Cry, House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim, Alone in the Dark), Brotherhood of Blood is a claustrophobic thriller about a team of vampire hunters who infiltrate a nest of undead to rescue one of their own.
The film stars Sid Haig (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil Rejects), Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead, The Devil Rejects), Victoria Pratt (House of the Dead 2), Will Snow, Rachel Grant and Robin of Sherwood himself, Jason Connery.
"We´re thrilled to work with this exciting cast in the genre we love: horror", says Roesch.
"We tell a vampire story from a different angle," says Scheerer, "and of course, there will be blood!"
There'd better be.
Brotherhood of Blood is Exec produced by Juergen Popp. Nicole Ackermann and Mark Burman are the producers with Sascha Seifert and Scott Pearlman acting as Co-Producers.
