An American Haunting gets release dates

 Upcoming Bell Witch horror film An American Haunting has had its release dates set for the UK and the US, with the film opening on 7th April in the UK from Redbus and May 5th in the US from Freestyle Releasing.
Starring Sissy Spacek, Donald Sutherland and Rachel Hurd-Wood, An American Haunting is based on "The Bell Witch Haunting" novel by Brent Monahan and deals with a 19th Century American family who are plagued by the presence of a cruel and noisy spirit.
We were lucky enough to catch a preview of this film last week (review coming soon), and although suffering from a weak script, the film certainly looks very good (this is one of the last two films cinematographer Adrian Aliens Biddle worked on, the other being V For Vendetta), and has one or two great scare moments of spooky ghosts.
