Check out the redband trailer for Slither

 We haven't been focusing on this one too much, but with the ever-growing hype, Slither looks set to become one of the horror highlights of 2006, that could quite possibly "change the face.. of horror".
Thankfully you can now see an 'over-18s-only' redband trailer for the Universal Pictures' picture at www.slithermovie.net, which certainly makes the film look like buckets of b-movie fun, with some nice gore and a decent sense of humour. The sci-fi horror was written and directed by James Gunn and stars Michael (Henry) Rooker, Nathan Fillion and Elizabeth Banks
Slither is set in the sleepy town of Wheelsy with its quaint and gentle atmosphere and friendly folk who mind their own business. But, wouldn’t you know, something unnamed and evil has arrived... and is growing.
It’s not long before lots of ‘Missing Pet’ posters begin appearing on the town’s telephone poles and local inhabitant Grant (Rooker) starts to act strangely.
Suspecting something’s up when farmers’ livestock appears horribly mutilated and a young woman goes missing, Sheriff Bill Pardy (Fillion) and Grant’s wife (Banks) begin investigating the dark forces laying siege to their town, and soon come face-to-face with an older-than-time organism intent on absorbing and devouring all life on Earth.
