Lady Vengeance DVD arrives in the UK on May 15th

One of the best films of the year so far has been Tartan's Lady Vengeance (ok, so we put it in our top ten list of 2005, but we did see it while in Hong Kong last year - see here for our Top Ten Films of 2005), but even though the film is still on theatrical release, we've just heard the UK DVD will now be released on May 15th (priced at £19.99).
The third part of Chan-Wook Park's so-called 'Vengeance' trilogy (following Sympathy For Mr Vengeance and Oldboy), Lady Vengeance is a stunning piece of sumptuous cinema detailing the revenge plan of the gorgeously dark and deadly Lee Geum-ja (Lee Young-ae from JSA: Joint Security Area) who became notorious in the media for assisting in the abduction and murder of a young boy.
Thirteen years later, she’s released from jail after becoming a model prisoner, and with her new-found freedom she sets about putting her revenge plans into action with the help of other inmates and allies.
