Tom Savini joins Tarantino and Rodriguez in Grind House

 Big news for all fans of zombie films (which most definitely includes us), as it has been officially announced Tom Savini has nabbed a role in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez / Quentin Tarantino production, Grind House.
In what is possibly this year's most eagerly anticipated big-budget cult movie, (the film is due for release in the US in December), Grind House will comprise of two sections: Rodriguez's Project Terror, a zombie flick, and Death Proof from Tarantino which has been described by the director as "a slasher film, but instead of a knife, it's a car". And no, we don't know yet which one Savini will be appearing in, but we're willing to make a bet it will be the Rodriguez zombie one...
More Information
Both tales will be 75 minutes long and linked by fake trailers. Along for the gory ride will be another of the genres famous faces, Danny Trejo, who also starred in From Dusk Till Dawn, Michael Keaton and John Jarrett.
