News on Nothing Sacred, the second film from the team behind Nightmare
2nd Dec 06
Ever since their stunning debut Nightmare earlier last year, which is still gathering awards on the festival circuit btw (see our original review here), we’ve been trying to keep track of what director Dylan Bank director and producer Morgan Pehme producer have been up to next.
Well, Morgan Pehme has just dropped us a quick email to let us know they are currently filming their next project Nothing Sacred for which Pehme and Bank are each taking co-writer, co-producer, co-editor and co-director credits (phew – big workload there boys!).
The mythological horror film, a Belgian American co-production, is set in locations all over the world from Paris to a 15th Century Belgian Castle to a Native American reservation in Oklahoma.
Nothing Sacred stars internationally renowned actors such as French superstar Thierry Lhermitte, Switchblade Romance-killer Philippe Nahon, and scream queen Debbie Rochon (Terror Firmer), with two newcomers Alan Barnes Netherton and Naama Kates in the lead roles as a brother / sister set of twins.
The team also recently screened a few minutes of their footage to 200 horror-hungry fans at The New York City Horror Film Festival, where it was met with enthusiastic applause. Stay tuned to eatmybrains for more news, images and exclusive interviews for this film coming soon.
Synopsis: To avenge their mother’s death, a pair of twins must kill their father before he can become immortal.
Nothing Sacred imagines a mythic world of magic thriving in our midst. It is the world all around us —the one we choose not to see.
Blue and Delilah are a pair of twins prophesied to avenge their mother’s murder by killing their father. To find him, a dark sorcerer named Chambers, the twins must journey across the globe, hunting down their horrifying legions of brothers and sisters in pursuit of any trace of their father.
But time is running out on fate. Always a step ahead of his children, Chambers scours the earth, uncovering the ancient secrets that will allow him to cheat destiny and become immortal. If Chambers succeeds, no one will be able to stop him.
