Anchor Bay to release 4-disc DVD of Romero's Dawn of the Dead

 Now this is some great news for all you zombie horror fans. Dawn of the Dead is (probably) the greatest zombie flick ever made, and has been released on countless variations of videos and DVDs over the past few years.
Now it seems Anchor Bay are putting together the ultimate edition(s) of this classic film (and eatmybrains.com are already drooling at the prospect), which will feature three separate versions of the film (all with commentaries) and an extra disc for, well, extras.
Now cover artwork or release dates have yet been released (expect this to be initially a Region 1 release, with a possible Region 2 follow-up), but Fangoria have discoverd the contents of the four discs.

As well as a cameo in Dawn of the Dead, Document of the Dead's documentary producer, writer, director Roy Frumkes also wrote Jim Muro's 'classic' melt-movie Street Trash and has a cameo in it as a yuppie who gets dripped upon by a melting tramp.
