Neil Marshall's first UK convention appearance - Memorabilia, Sat November 24th

 With quite a few star names already announced (Don Calfa, Michael Rooker, the cast and crew of Troll 2), it's great news that writer / director Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, The Descent, Doomsday) has now confirmed he will be meeting his fans and signing autographs on Saturday 24th of November at the Memorabilia Show in Birmingham.
Memorabilia, the UK’s longest running event for fans of movies, cult TV, comics, video games, sport and music, will be held at the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham and the horror section this year has been sponsored by Gorezone magazine. It is Neil’s first convention appearance in Europe.
British filmmaker Neil Marshall's debut feature, soldiers-versus-werewolves horror comedy Dog Soldiers (2002), opened to positive reviews and healthy box-office, and has since gained a strong and loyal cult following around the world.
Neil's second feature, six-chicks-with-picks underground horror The Descent (2005), is hailed as one of the best fright flicks of the decade, and won several prestigious awards, including the Saturn for best horror film and the BIFA for best director and editor.
Neil is currently in post-production on Doomsday, a post-apocalyptic action/adventure epic starring Malcolm McDowell, Bob Hoskins and Rhona Mitra, to be released by Universal in 2008.
Actor Leslie Simpson, who appeared in all three movies, will be present at Memorabilia on the 24th and 25th of November.
