More news on Worst Case Scenario

 Well, it's been a while since we reported on the Dutch production Worst Case Scenario (see earlier news for more details), but it seems things are now rolling along nicely on this 'zombie beach flick' ready for filming to begin later this year.
Since Brian Yuzna saw the advance promo at Cannes this year (and agreed to let his name be used in a 'Brian Yuzna presents...' manner), Miguel Tajeda-Flores (writer of Beyond Re-Animator and the up-coming Yuzna film Rottweiler) has been attached to the project to add a bit of zing to the screenplay.
Director Richard Raaphorst is apparently delighted with the progress, and although the screenplay is not quite finished, it is expected to be complete within the next month when Tajeda-Flores will fly out to Holland to wrap things up ready for a (hopeful) winter shoot.
The website is still advertising for Gorehound Guerillas (over 1,800 people have applied so far) to play 'Armies of Nazi-Zombies and Crazed Hooligans', so what are you all waiting for. More Information
The original screenplay of the film focuses on the friction between neighboring countries. In the final of the soccer World Cup and Holland and Germany are going to war. A group of friends try to get away from the nationwide frenzy by traveling to a North Sea island, but they wind up in a situation that is far, far worse.
