Release dates announced for ROTLD 4 and 5

 Well, they've been around for some time now, but the US release date has now been announced for the two Return of the Living Dead sequels (ROTLD 4: Necropolis and ROTLD 5: Rave to the Grave) and strangely it seems that the two films are going to be released on the same day.
The official website has announced an October 7th release in the US for both films later this year. If you visit the website, you can also read an interview with the producer Anatoly Fradis and updates from their current dealings in Cannes.
Return of the Living Dead 4: Necropolis stars Peter Coyote as a dodgy scientist called Charles Garrison who uses the radioactive trioxin to turn the dead into vicious killing machines with grafted on weaponry.
Prodcucer Anatoly Fradis:
”I came up with forensically realistic extensions of those zombie looks with the addition of grafted-on weapons and chainsaws for an über-zombie, TERMINATOR-like unstoppable mutant quality, because NECROPOLIS is all about military tests on the undead for warfare use.”
Return of the Living Dead 5: Rave from the Grave feature’s Garrison’s nephew finding two barrels of trioxin and manufacturing it into an Ecstasy-type drug that turns some Halloween partygoers into crazed zombies.
More Information
Both films were shot back-to-back in the Ukraine by Eight Legged Freaks director Ellory Elkayem. Part of the shot took place at the site of the Chernobyl nuclear-power disaster. Optic Nerve Studios provided the film’s Special effects.
