Frightfest League Of Gentlemen screening now sold out

24th May 05

Frightfest League Of Gentlemen screening now sold out As you would expect with just under a week to go, all tickets for FrightFest Presents screening of The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse and post-film Q&A with the movie's creators have now sold out.

Over 250 full day passes have now been sold for the day long event happening this weekend (Saturday 28th May) at London's Prince Charles Cinema from 11am straight through until past midnight, but there are still a few limited individual tickets available for the other shows of the day, which includes the first UK showing of Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects.

Also screening is a Surprise Movie (we heavily recommend you get your tickets for this one - we reckon it's going to be one you're not going to want to miss), R-Point, Shallow Ground and From Beyond The Grave.

Visit the official frightfest.co.uk website for more details.

Full line-up:
11.00 am - A wonderful piece of vintage British horror in FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE (1974). Mark Gatiss will be on hand to introduce the film and explain why this Kevin Connor directed horror omnibus is of particular significance to the League of Gentlemen.

1.10 pm - R-POINT (2004). Set in 1972 in Vietnam, the film tells the story of a company of South Korean soldiers in the jungle where the search for their vanished comrades turns terrifying. A thought-provoking shocker combining the potent subtext of war guilt with the Walking Dead.

3.30 pm - Director Sheldon Wilson’s seriously shocking bone-chiller SHALLOW GROUND (2004) has been causing major waves on the festival circuit. Now it is your chance to find out why.

5.45 pm - SURPRISE MOVIE (2005) It’s big, it’s something we are all dying to see, and it would be wrong to miss it. That’s all the organisers can apparently say about the "Surprise Movie that will visually knock your eyes out".

8.30 pm - The all-star screening of THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN’S APOCALYPSE. The League of Gentlemen, Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith and Jeremy Dyson will be in attendance to introduce the film and will return after the screening for a Q & A.

11.00 pm - Rounding off the day is the sequel to one of FrightFest’s greatest hits - a preview of the further exploits of Baby, Otis and everyone’s favorite degenerate clown, Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie’s THE DEVIL’S REJECTS.
