Open the trailers with The Skeleton Key

 Voodoo, Kate Hudson in the shower, a mute John Hurt and ghosts in the mirror. Yup, Universal have now revealed a couple of different trailers for their up-coming The Skeleton Key written by Ehren (The Ring) Kruger and directed by Iain (K-Pax) Softley.
Set largely in the dark atmospheric backwoods just outside of New Orleans, The Skeleton Key stars Kate Hudson as Caroline, a live-in nurse hired to care for an elderly woman's ailing husband (Ian Hurt) at their home in the Louisiana delta. After gaining their trust, Caroline is given a 'Skeleton Key' to the house that apparently opens every door in the house and she soon sets about exploring the decrepit mansion.
But when Caroline discovers a door in the attic that can't be opened with the key, she begins to discover a 'deadly and terrifying' secret that may involve voodoo and lots of other nasty little things.

The Skeleton Key is released in the US on August 12th, and week later on August 19th here in the UK. the film also stars Gena Rowlands, Joy Bryant and Peter Sarsgaard.
