Simon Pegg and George Romero take Time Out to talk zombies
12th Sep 05
 Here’s an interview you may be interested in, seeing as it brings together the ‘Big Daddy’ of zombie lore, Mr George A. Romero with Shaun himself and all-round top bloke, Mr Simon Pegg.
If you head on over to Time Out magazine’s website now, you can read the interview where the two chat about zombies (well, d’uh), the Dead trilogy, Shaun of the Dead's success, American politics and the impact of September 11th. As a taster, here’s what George had to say about the Recent Zach Snyder Dawn of the Dead remake;
"It was better than I expected. I thought it was a good action film. The first 15, 20 minutes were terrific, but it sort of lost its reason for being. It was more of a video game. I'm not terrified of things running at me; it's like Space Invaders. There was nothing going on underneath."
