First appearance of sexy seductress Tamara 11th Nov 05
Fangoria have revealed the first poster art for upcoming release Tamara, so we thought we'd post it here too becasue we thought it looked pretty sexy.
Hailed as a supernatural horror film, Tamara has been directed by Jeremy Haft from a script by Jeffrey Reddick who wrote Final Destination (hence the quote on the poster).
Jenna Dewan stars as an unpopular high-school girl who is accidentally killed during a prank, and returns from the grave as a supernaturally endowed vixen to manipulate and murder her former tormentors. Hmmm.. sounds a little like Carrie to me...
Tamara also stars Matthew Marsden. Exact theatrical release plans are apparently still being worked out, although IMDB claims that it will receive a Russian cinema release on December 1st 2005. The film is currently scheduled for a January 31 US DVD release from Lions Gate.
