Update on Jake West's Evil Aliens

 Following a lot of very successful festival screenings (mostly at midnight) it seems that Jake West’s Evil Aliens has finally secured distribution both here in the UK and in America.
The film will now be hitting UK cinemas during the first week of March with a US release set to follow in the spring. Apparently a new poster is currently being created by a famous comic book artist, although Jake is not revealing who it is yet.
Also, congratulations are in order after the film was one of only two 'horror' movies that picked up an award at the British Independent Film Awards the other night at the Hammersmith Palais.
Jake was in attendance to collect the Raindance award and commented “It’s quite amazing to win something, you get so used to people telling you you’re shit all the time that it’s quite nice to be told otherwise".
Neil Marshall also picked up the Best Director award and Jon Harris took the Technical Achievement in editing for The Descent.
