Day of the Dead: Contagium updates

 There have been one or two new updates on the site for the 'official unofficial' Day of the Dead sequel, including new images and a glimpse of the first teaser trailer. Whilst the trailer is somewhat disappointing, some of the images do look nice and gory.
Visit www.dayofthedeadmovie.net to make your own minds up, but from where we're sitting it looks like a cheap rip-off, that just might have enough 80s nostalgia to make it interesting.

Day of the Dead: Contagium starts in a parrallel world to the classic Night of the Living Dead. It shows the possible origin of the "Zombie plague" that would seek to ravage the earth. With incredible special effects and CGI, it promises to delight horror fans with both its gore and originality. In the true Horror/Sci-Fi, it deals with serious socio-political issues including depression, mental illness, suicide, abuse of power, and the government's control of information and hiding of the truth"
Not a comedy then....
