Zone Horror goes from strength to strength with a strong March line up

 Well I never. When the 'Zone' people took over the Horror Channel last year they promised good things, with a combination of new horrors and some old classics.
Well here it is, there are so many goodies to look forward to in March that I thought I'd just list the lot. Get those video/DVD/HD/Sky+ recorders ready!
Note - to make things easy, I've listed anything that starts in the early hours of the morning as the day before. I.e. 02:45 - Fri 2nd March - Terror Firmer is officially Wed 3rd, but it's included as part of the last nights listing. Also, to make things simpler, I've just listed the first showing of each in a month, check for other screenings of each title at zonehorror.com.
22:55 - Fri 2nd March - Night of the Demon
Grisly "video nasty". Students pour their blood, sweat and tears into an anthropological trip to investigate the legend of Bigfoot, but there lurks a more horrific monster in the woods... Starring Joy Allen, Bob Collins and Barrett Cooper. Directed by James C. Wasson. (Cert:18) (1980)
02:45 - Fri 2nd March - Terror Firmer
A low budget film crew, led by a blind director, is trying to make art! But the crew becomes the target of a sexually confused, explosives-happy serial killer. Starring Will Keenan, Lloyd Kaufman and Debbie Rochon. Directed by Lloyd Kaufman. (Cert:18) (1999)
21:00 - Sat 3rd March - The Hills Have Eyes Part II
Wes Craven directs this unsettling tale of a group of young bikers who get stuck in the desert, hunted one by one by creepy, mutant cannibals. Who will be on pole in this race for survival? Starring Tamara Stafford, Kevin Spirtas and Janus Blythe. (Cert:18) (1985)
22:55 - Sat 3rd March - Last Cannibal World
Deep in the jungle, a man is trapped in an endless, sickening nightmare as his cannibal captors brutally torture & terrify him - to madness. Extreme exploitation film from Ruggero Deodato, although probably won't be the uncut version. Starring Massimo Foschi and Me Me Lai. (Cert:18) (1977)

A group of fraternity boys and sorority girls spend the night at a haunted mansion, getting caught up in a dead entertaining mix of comedy, blood, gore and sex! Starring Brad Dourif, Brooke Burke and Tiffany Shepis. Directed by Rolfe Kanefsky. (Cert:15) (2004)
00:50 - Tue 6th March - Knocking on Death's Door
Two paranormal scientists become entangled in the murder investigation of a little boy, whose ghost helps them to recover clues. But each step takes them closer to danger. Starring Brian Bloom, Kimberly Rowe and David Carradine. Directed by Mitch Marcus. (Cert:18) (1999)
02:45 - Wed 7th March - Bloody Birthday
Born during a total solar eclipse, three seemingly innocent children go on a murderous rampage just before a party to celebrate their 10th birthday. Starring Susan Strasberg and José Ferrer. Directed by Ed Hunt. (Cert:18) (1981)
00:50 - Thu 8th March - The Bloodsucker Leads the Dance
Cult Italian horror film featuring gruesome murders as gothic lesbians prowl the corridors of an Italian castle and fall prey to a deranged vampire. Directed by Alfredo Rizzo. (Cert:18) (1975)
21:00 - Fri 9th March - Slugs
When there is a surge in unexplained deaths in town, one health worker believes he has the answer: flesh-eating slugs, out to destroy the world. Starring Michael Garfield and Kim Terry. Directed by Juan Piquer Simón. (Cert:18) (1988)
22:55 - Fri 9th March - Rottweiler
Man's best friend becomes man's worst enemy as a crazed, robo-enhanced Rottweiler is sent to fetch & kill an escaped prisoner, exercising his metal jaws along the way. Director: Brian Yuzna. Starring William Miller, Irene Montalà and Nicholas Aaron. (Cert:18) (2004)
