Shaun of the Dead receives US release date

 Hooray..!! Finally, the UK's best ever horror-comedy export, Shaun of the Dead has now received a release date in the US for this year on September 17th.
There is no offical word on how large the release will be, but seeing as the film was a huge hit over here in Blighty, expect it to be fairly wide. US sites such as www.aintitcool.com, www.bloody-disgusting.com and www.creature-corner.com have been raving about the film ever since it was released, and it will be extremely interesting to see how the film fares across the Atlantic.
The film is also going to be screened at the Fantasia Film Festival on Friday 23rd July.
